About

THE ART OF PATINA
Patina is what forms on natural materials such as full-grain leather, and waxed cotton canvas. Our timeless products develop a natural patina over time and actually look better with age. Our creations mature with age and tell stories of its life.

1) WHAT WE'RE MADE OF?

Our full-grain leather is a unique type material admired for its rich colors and ability to develop a custom patina over time. Unlike mainstream materials, no two hides of full-grain leather will age identically. Each piece tells the owner’s story through the wear and markings.

2) THE HISTORY OF WAXED COTTON

Waxed cotton canvas has proven to be a rare fabric invention that has well stood the tests of time. While the history of waxed canvas is rich with changes in both methods and applications over time, one thing has not changed: its origins lie deep within the hearts of those who sailed.

3) THE DESIGN

We believe in the beauty of simplicity and craftsmanship. No flashy logos. No cheap plastics and synthetic materials. Just the world’s most durable bags, made with noble and robust natural materials. It’s that simple.

4) THE HARDWARE

All hardware—buckles, rivets, screws, rings—are crafted from military-grade solid brass with a durable gunmetal finish, built for long life and rugged use. Each bag is equipped with heavy-duty original YKK metal zippers from Japan, ensuring reliability and strength in every zip.

5) OUR CRAFTSMANSHIP

We believe in the beauty of simplicity and craftsmanship, rejecting fast fashion trends and opting for enduring quality. Our commitment to quality is evident in every stitch, every fold, and every patina that develops over time, telling the unique story of its journey with you.

6) MEET THE ARTISAN
At 52, Bijoy has spent more years working leather than he hasn’t. His father stitched saddlebags for the cavalry. Bijoy, curious as a boy, watched in silence. He learned from watching—not by being taught, but by absorbing. Today, he leads a small team, yet still insists on hand-burnishing each edge himself.
