Every Detail Matters

WHAT WE'RE MADE OF?

Our full-grain leather is a unique type material admired for its rich colors and ability to develop a custom patina over time. Unlike mainstream materials, no two hides of full-grain leather will age identically. Each piece tells the owner’s story through the wear and markings.

THE HISTORY OF WAXED COTTON

Waxed cotton canvas has proven to be a rare fabric invention that has well stood the tests of time. While the history of waxed canvas is rich with changes in both methods and applications over time, one thing has not changed: its origins lie deep within the hearts of those who sailed.

THE HARDWARE

All hardware—buckles, rivets, screws, rings—are crafted from military-grade solid brass with a durable gunmetal finish, built for long life and rugged use. Each bag is equipped with heavy-duty original YKK metal zippers from Japan, ensuring reliability and strength in every zip.

OUR CRAFTSMANSHIP

We believe in the beauty of simplicity and craftsmanship, rejecting fast fashion trends and opting for enduring quality. Our commitment to quality is evident in every stitch, every fold, and every patina that develops over time, telling the unique story of its journey with you.

Meet the Artisan

Some people build things with their hands. Kashif builds with memory.

He learned the craft in a narrow workshop in old Kolkata, where the smell of leather mingled with the clang of hand tools and the rhythm of old Hindi songs on the radio.

The Navagio Duffle is his favorite to make. “Strong. Heavy. But elegant,” he says, as his fingers trace the lines of the buffalo leather. He still finishes each piece the same way he did twenty years ago: slow, precise, with a cloth wrapped around his finger to burnish the edges by hand.

When you carry a Navagio, you carry Kashif’s hours. His early mornings. His muscle memory. His quiet pride.

And if you ever find yourself in Kolkata, down a dusty lane where the machines hum and the brass shines—ask for Kashif. He might smile, offer you chai, and show you how legacy is sewn, one stitch at a time.
